OPERA BASICS

戏曲有‘唱，念，做，打’四种表演功夫。在戏曲的教学上，对于四种表演功夫，都有一套较完整的训练方法。

凡是学习戏曲的学生，都必须受到这些基本功的训练，将来才能担负起舞台上的创造任务。

戏曲舞台上‘做功’的基本训练。所谓‘做功’，即是演员在舞台表演时，所运用的舞蹈动作和静止‘亮相’的身段。

它是舞台上表达人物思想感情，刻化人物性格必不可少的重要艺术手段。

Opera Basics course is made up of 4 main elements: singing, speaking, acting and fighting.

In order to put up a good opera performance, training for these 4 elements is essential for every student.

This course also covers physical training such as dance routines and standing postures.

These skills are indispensable, as they represent the character’s thoughts, feelings and personality.
